Demilec foams are commonly used in industrial and agricultural buildings as a thermal insulation and water-proof coating. Typical installations include the insulation of  roof spaces, ductwork and pipework in areas of restricted access.

Spray Polyurethane Foam is applied as a liquid and expands 30-120 times (depending on product used) its original liquid volume to seal and insulate in a single application. Our open cell products are commonly used to insulate attic and wall spaces in commercial buildings. Demilec closed cell foams have a proven track record in the insulation and sealing of metal roof decks  when applied to either  the underside or top side of the roof sheeting. Closed cell foams form a hard, monolithic surface over the substrate. The Polyurethane Foam dries within seconds after application to the substrate surface. Its expansion results in a weather tight roofing membrane that is fully adhered to the substrate. As polyurethane foam is a lightweight material, it adds little additional weight to the structure and is often used for remedial applications. Polyurethane Foam has a history of more than 35 years as a maintainable roofing medium. In addition, the high vapour resistance of our closed cell foams provide a cost effective solution to issure of condensation and mould growth.

Demilec also manufacture a family of polyurea membranes that are exceptionally tough and flexible and are ideally suited for floor and roof applications. These membranes are spray-applied plastic coatings that bridge gaps, seams and joints.
